Why the East Helena Wrestling Club?
• The Vision of the EHWC is “To develop a wrestling club in the East Helena community that provides for aspiring wrestlers to join the Vigilante Wrestling team”

• The Mission of the EHWC is “We are dedicated to nurturing both wrestling skills and life skill for athletes aged four through high school.”

Who can join the East Helena Wrestling Club, and do you have to live in East Helena?
No, anyone that is interested in developing the sport of wrestling in East Helena may be a member of the club.
When is our season?
• We will start practices January 2nd and run through March. We will be attending AAU and USAW tournaments.
• Helltown Throwdown (January 19-21) will be the first tournament of the season and the Montana Open (assuming March 22-24) will be the last.
• The big tournaments we plan to attend are Helltown, Butte Cyclops, Lewistown Middle School State, AAU State in Billings and the Montana Open in Billings. We will fill in the weekends in between as those tournaments start to open up.
Do we have to go to every tournament?
• No, but since we (the club) are doing most of the tournament registrations, we ask that you let us know if you do not plan on attending a tournament.
Where and when will we practice?

• Most of our practices will be at the East Helena High School Auxiliary gym, except for some nights at Eastgate.
• We will run practice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, times are to be determined depending on the amount and ages of wrestlers. We will run two practices if we need to. Practice times will start after 5:30 and end by 8:30.

What are the fees for the season and what do they cover?
• $200 per wrestler, and $175 per sibling.
• Fees cover gym rental.
• Wrestlers USAW and AAU cards needed for insurance and tournaments.
• Wrestler entrance fees into all tournaments the team attends, except for AAU State and the Montana
Open.
• Coaches’ cards and tournament entrance fees.
• Team shirt.
• We ask that you try for one business sponsor to help cover additional fees the club endures.
What about singlets?
• The club will have singlets that can be loaned out. You will provide a deposit check of $45 per singlet. Your check will be returned to you when the singlet is turned back into the club.
• We will also have the option for wrestlers to buy their own club singlet to keep.
• We plan to offer a buyback program in the future.
What about the High schoolers after their season?
• We are excited to offer the opportunity for them to not only wrestle for our club, but also to be mentored into a coach and referee with the club. They can sign up to wrestle, we will pay their fees if they commit to helping coach during the season and at tournaments when they are not on the mat. There of course will be certain parameters to follow.
• This not only is beneficial to the Highschooler, but it’s also a fun experience for the younger wrestlers and gives them someone to look up to.
